Ward Visitor

As a Ward Visitor, you are the essential "front line" of BRIDGEfm. You'll interact directly with patients, promote the station, and ensure our listeners receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients and staff, gathering music requests.
  • Promote BRIDGEfm and enhance its image within the hospital.
  • Provide feedback to help us improve our service.

Audio Production

Are you creative and tech-savvy? The Audio Production role involves creating promotional material, infomercials, and in-house jingles.

Skills Needed:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Audition (training provided).
  • Scriptwriting abilities for clear, engaging content.
  • Audio editing and production skills.

Fundraising & Events

Our lifeline is fundraising. This crucial role involves organising events and activities to raise funds for equipment, music, and operational costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute fundraising events, raffles, and collections.
  • Develop innovative fundraising ideas.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure successful events.

Programme Production Assistant

As a Production Assistant (PA), you'll support presenters and ensure the smooth running of their show and the station.

Sports Presenter & Commentator

Love sports? Join us as a Sports Presenter & Commentator and provide live commentary for Dundee United FC and Dundee FC matches throughout the season.

Training Provided:

  • Start as a Sports Presenter.
  • Progress to commentator, working in pairs to deliver engaging live commentary.

Presenter

Presenters are the voice of BRIDGEfm, responsible for delivering top-quality content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Host engaging shows that reflect the tastes and needs of our listeners.
  • Enhance the hospital experience for patients through excellent programming.
  • Ensure the station’s output is always of the highest standard.
